This blog is dedicated to telling my family’s migration story.  My father immigrated from Greece to the United States in 1968 when he was eight years old.  This was a period of time when many Greeks were making the voyage to the United States.  This blog will examine how and why people like my father migrated, what the migration process was like, and what life was like for Greeks when they arrived in the United States.  This blog will also provide an inside look at how my father, a first generation American, adapted and made a life for himself in the United States.
